Justin Theroux has shown his support for his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, after revealing that she had trouble getting pregnant through in vitro fertilization in their late thirties and forties.
The “Friends” alum, 53, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share some sultry photos from her Allure cover story.
“End of an era. Thank you @allure for making me the cover girl for your very last print issue 🤍🥹,” she said. subtitled the photos in part.
Theroux, 51, commented with a thumbs up and a heart emoji below the post – which quickly racked up more than 4 million likes.
The “American Psycho” star, who was married to Aniston from 2015 to 2018 — was just one of many celebrities to send their love after talking about the “difficult road” she faced “trying to get pregnant” in the public eye.
“All the years and years and years of speculation. .. It was really hard,” she said at the exit on thwart pregnancy rumors while dealing with infertility.
“I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I threw everything on it. I would have given anything if someone had said to me, “Freeze your eggs.” Have fun.’ You just don’t think so. So here I am today. The ship sailed,” she continued.
In her interview, she also applauded the “narrative” that she never wanted children.
“It was absolute lies,” said Aniston, who was also married to Brad Pitt, said she was “selfish” and only cared about her “career”.
“And God forbid that a woman succeeds and has no children. And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage is because I wouldn’t give him a child,” she continued, adding, “I don’t. I have nothing to hide at this point.”
However, the A-list actor says sharing her journey is “like coming out of hibernation” and that she has “no regrets” about how things turned out.
Aniston and Theroux started dating in 2011 and got engaged a year later on her 41st birthday.
The couple got married in 2015 in a surprise ceremony at their Los Angeles home.
However, they called it two and a half years later after realizing “they were two very different people,” sources told Page Six at the time.
