Wakanda Forever’ Eyes World Dominance With $365 Million Opening – Box Office – Deadline

Despite the presence of New Line’s black adam and Universal’s franchise title Halloween ends at the october box office, the drought we’ve had since the second frame of august with weekend ticket sales in the united states and canada averaging $58 million has been pungent to say the least .

Expect Ryan Coogler to direct and write the sequel to the 3x Oscar-winning, $1.3 billion worldwide smash hit between $175M – $185M in the United States in 4,300 theaters and another $180 million or more abroad for worldwide departure between $355 million at $365 millionwhich will make it the third highest start of the pandemic after Spider-Man: No Coming Home ($568 million) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ($429 million). The film starring Paul Dano, Michelle Williams, Seth Rogen, Judd Hirsch and Gabriel LaBelle runs Wednesday, November 23. Rotten Tomatoes reviewers love it at 94% Fresh.
