The Last Blood Moon lunar eclipse until 2025 delighted observers around the world.
The Blood Moon Beaver Lunar Eclipse started at 03:02 EST (08:02 GMT), reached fullness at 05:16 EST (10:16 GMT) and ended at 08:56 EST (13:56 GMT).
A total lunar eclipse occurs when the full moon (in this case, the November full beaver moon) moves into the deep shadow of the Earth and only receives the light previously filtered by earth’s atmosphere. It was visible from North America and parts of South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

The lunar eclipse is not visible to everyone, but thanks to various live streams around the world, everyone can have the chance to see the Moon of blood lunar eclipse free.
The mobile observatory team of the Time and Date site broadcast the lunar eclipse live on its Youtube channel (opens in a new tab). The time and date also had a live blog (opens in a new tab) with real-time reports and background information about the total lunar eclipse. Astrophysicist Gianluca Masi of the Virtual Telescope Project 2.0 livestreamed the eclipse from Ceccano, Italy, on the project website (opens in a new tab). Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona is also being offered a free lunar eclipse live stream on their YouTube channel (opens in a new tab). Unfortunately, due to extensive cloud cover, the famed Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California had to interrupt its live lunar eclipse broadcast.

The Beaver Blood Moon even made an appearance above NASA’s Artemis 1 moon rocket at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The massive Space Launch System (SLS) rocket stack includes an uncrewed Orion spacecraft and is set to launch on November 14. Observers around the world also took to Twitter to share their impressive photos and videos of Blood Moon’s last lunar eclipse through 2025.

Observers in Tokyo also managed to view the total lunar eclipse while waiting for their train. Not bad for passing the time!
