“We’re choosing a new rare ring for our vow renewal because it’s a beautiful rare tanzanite ring to symbolize our love,” she told PEOPLE of Effy Hematian’s tanzanite and 15-diamond ring. carats. “It’s beautiful and we chose it together. It’s a one of a kind piece. I believe there were only a few made in the world – it’s beautiful.”

Silva, who also wore her previous diamond engagement ring, says she knew immediately the stone was meant for her.

“It’s very, very glamorous and beautiful and very rare like me,” she says. “And when we saw it, it was just the perfect ring. Darcey [Silva’s twin sister] and I love our jewelry. We love our rings, we love our bling and he wanted to make me happy and nobody else.”

The bride wore a custom dress by an Albanian American designer Katerina Bocci. “Her dresses are very haute couture,” Silva explains. “She just made my dream dress. It’s the most beautiful and spectacular dress I’ve ever dreamed of.”

The couple hired a wedding planner Danielle Rothweiler to concoct their “modern, chic” nuptials. The ceremony and reception were decorated in shades of white, pale pink and ivory with lots of candles and crystals.

“Stacey loved the idea of ​​an all-white vibe throughout the day, so we incorporated gorgeous white flowers into the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception,” says Rothweiler. “She really wanted it to be intimate and special so they could (finally) share their wedding with their closest friends and family.”

For Silva and Sukaj, finally having their wedding was a dream come true.

“This is the moment we’ve been waiting for,” Silva told PEOPLE of their nuptials. “We’ve been together for eight years and been through so much and our love has survived. We’re here now. We’ve made it. Saying our vows and having everyone [there] to witness our love for each other, we are so grateful.”
