“On the forecast track, the center of Lisa will make landfall in Belize later today, then cross northern Guatemala and move into southeastern Mexico by Thursday,” the National Hurricane Center said. “Some strengthening is expected before touchdown. Rapid weakening will occur after Lisa’s center moves inland.”

This storm is not expected to pose a threat to Florida.
