Aaron Judge is booed by Yankees fans just 10 days after breaking the 62nd home run record

After breaking the American League home run record by hitting 62 homers, New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge set another record.

Judge recorded his fourth game of four strikeouts, which is the most by any player in major league history.

He is now 0-8 with seven strikeouts in the first two games of the American League Divisional Series.

The Yankee Stadium crowd began to shower boos on the man they celebrated a few weeks ago as the game progressed.

‘There is nothing I can do. I have to play better,’ Judge said after the game. ‘That’s what it’s about. Didn’t do the job tonight.

“The timing is a little off, you’re going to be swinging on lands you don’t normally swing at, and the ones you can hit you’re just a tick behind or a bit ahead.”

Yankees manager Aaron Boone praised the Guardians pitching team for how they’ve handled Judge so far this series.

“Much of the day they ran against him,” Boone said. “The few pitches he had to hit, he was fouled. I think a lot of today was down to their execution and it was just a tough day to take tricks and things like that.

The Guardians pitching staff did a great job confusing the judge with breaking pitches to the low outside of the plate. He was then late to pitches that caught the middle of the plate leading to the aforementioned foul balls.

Star man Judge is in line for a major payday when he signs a contract through free agency this offseason.

Original reports claimed Judge could be set for a base contract of at least $300 million this winter after a stellar season.

However, it is now believed that a deal for the star slugger will ‘most certainly unlock $300m’ and could even edge closer to the $400m mark, according to a report from the New York Post.

“He will definitely clear $300 million. But is it closer to $400 million than $300 million? Maybe,” says a rival leader. “He is so important for the richest team.”
